SUZUKI Taro

SUZUKI Tarou was born in 1973 in Katsushika Ward, Tokyo. He creates works with a time line in them, which also make use of machines and electronic parts, whilst also adopting natural elements such as water for the expression mediums. He won the Design Prize at the Annual Graduate Show in Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music in 2000. He went on to register the copyright of his award winning work, the bubble display system. It afterwards became the recommended work of the Juries at the Media Arts Festival, Agency for Cultural Affairs and then won the Division Grand Prize at the Asia Digital Art Awards. He also exhibited his work at the World Water Forum. He has won a great many other prizes and recognitions, such as the Grand Prize in DiVA Exhibition, held by the Society for Art and Science, and has exhibited his works on various occasions. Now, he is following a Doctoral Course at the Graduate School of Fine Arts in Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music.
