In 1995 we reached a 50 year milestone since the World War II. Nince manga artists that have experienced repatriation from China (Fujio Akasuka, Tetsuya Chiba, Kenji Morita, Kenichi Kitami, Mitsutoshi Furutani, George Yamauchi, Kenichiro Takai, Takao Yokoyama) and writer Jun Ishiko joined together and form "the China Repatriation Manga Club". Published a book on the experiences of withdrawing from China in Boku-no-Manshu (My Manchuria) (Aki Shobou). In 2001, Taiichi Yamaguchi, Baron Yoshimoto, Seiichi Hayashi also joined and published the award-winning all-color block print collection.
