Outline
About 20 meters wide visual image envelops the space. Depicted in the image is the Earth’s ocean surface as it is projected to rise over the next 100 years. The global sea level is expected to rise 120 centimeters during that period. The audience is gradually swallowed up by the waves of the rising sea, and a space emerges where reality and unreality are inseparable. This is a work of visual expression that recreates the spatial cognition in classical Japanese painting.
