A Series of “At a Little Coffee Shop”

A collection of short manga stories revolving around coffee and cafes, among them “Too Much Happiness,” which begins with a single concert ticket acquired at a coffee shop, and “Name Withheld by Request,” about a patron’s visit to a favorite shop for the first time in ten years. The artist’s unique touch, achieved with the effective use of dense cross-hatching, adds a rich flavor to tales of life and coffee that are sometimes sweet, sometimes bitter.
