In an era of “Fake News,” language seems to be more powerful and precarious than ever. In this context we situate the generative audiovisual artwork constructed to stream and redact words containing the letter “e” from popular U.S. and Mexican news RSS feeds. Black redactions trigger notes in an 11-note microtonal musical scale. The work is intended as a diverse musical work and visual record navigating mass media, censorship, and language.
