Arakawa Under The Bridge

An animation set on the bank of Arakawa River in Tokyo, where lCHINOMIYA Ko, also known as RIku, a privileged young man who has accomplished much, meets Nino, a beautiful homeless girl and a self-proclaimed Venusian. The encounter is the start of an odd and bitter-sweet romance. Based on the manga series by NAKAMURA Hikaru, its plot revolves around the daily commotions caused by the odd inhabitants of the banks. It is a romantic comedy that features a fresh take on the first of the kind denpakei (or paranoia) sub genre story.
