Body/Traces is a stop-motion digital animation created from 7,000 3D Laser scans. New media artist Sophie KAHN reconstructed choreographer Lisa PARRA’s movement sequences, scanning a dancer with a DIY 3D Laser scanner, built from a Laser level and LEGO, and rendering the 7,000 scans, which Lisa then re-animated.
