deaigashira (Sudden Encounters)

When something encounters something else, it gives rise to behavior that yields a series of chance occurrences—depending on the other, doing small kindnesses, breaking up, moving on to a new encounter. That process is depicted in this collection of six short manga. The author draws a parallel world, an extrapolation of our everyday one, using a technique of layering different styles with simple characters against detailed, realistic backgrounds.
