Double Standards – Somali Seajacks 2010-2012

In Double Standards we see a different side to Somali piracy: The stories of the seajacked ships and the companies behind them. The book and installation demonstrate how the ships hijacked within approximately two years from 2010 have their own ways of defying the law. By remaking the ships’ flags, the true owners of each vessel are revealed.
