I heard TALKING IS DANGEROUS

Responding to the constantly updating medical advice of the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as the social tension of conversation during a racial uprising in the US, the artist imagines a scenario where people are advised to stop talking completely. Instead of speaking, the artist performs on doorsteps using a phone screen and text-to-speech function. The artist invites participants to use their own phones to continue a conversation about danger, safety, and the future.
