It looks like it’s heard

Five musicians were invited to play the same piano piece at first sight, and their facial expressions and head movements were captured on video. The artist then analyzed these movements to invent new graphic elements from them, and wrote a new “graphic score” with these elements. By focusing on the physical expressions of music interpreters, this work attempts to connect auditory and visual elements within the context of classical music and visual arts.
