NUNUI

Searching for his way out of, Nunui meets a companion. Adapted from the original southern Thai shadow puppets “Nang Talung”, the film represents an ambivalence of the characters and their relationship in an ambiguous space. Nunui, seeking a possibility to connect traditional Thai art forms and contemporary animation, is a playful and intelligent use of stark tones against a splash of colour and of geometric shapes.
