Outline
A short animated version of the work of the same title by lyrical manga artist KYO Machiko, this is a meditation on the aftermath of the earthquake, tsunami and nuclear disaster of March 2011. Since that fateful day a pigtail-braided girl has been living alone in a small house that stands in solitude by the seaside. Through the talkative, ostensibly inanimate objects around her, we come to understand her life in this tale of recovery and hope for the future.
