A hand-drawn animation of the ballet “Parade” (1917) with music by Erik SATIE, realized as a surrealistic ballet video. Accompanying music performed by the Willem Breuker Kollektief, the original ballet characters are joined in the dance by SATIE himself, Pablo PICASSO, and Jean COCTEAU. Quotations also abound from SATIE’s texts and the works of artists he was close to.
