Seventy uizan ((Our First Baby))

EDUKI Asaichi and his wife Yuko are an elderly couple, aged 65 and 70, respectively. As Asa- ichi approached his retirement day, Yuko announces that she is pregnant. The couple begin the days of their rst experience of preg- nancy, birth, and bringing up their child. While at that age this is a scenario that realistically would be unthinkable, the story introduces ele- ments of fantasy, and with a tender touch presents the burdens and happiness of raising a child.
