Tekkojo nimo hana ga saku ((Flowers Bloom in a Iron Factory))

Following Torokeru Tekkosho (“Iron Works Melting Away,” 2007-13), the debut work by the author and former welder, this story also takes place at an iron works. It depicts unique characters working at the factory, from a sea- soned live-in welder, a hard-working Chinese laborer with sticky fingers, to a new female worker who used to be a recluse. The story tells of these caricatured individuals while also expressing the sad yet beautiful time flowing through the factory.
