To the Bright Side

Adapted from Chinese picture books, the work explores universal topics such as relationships between a mother and child, siblings, and neighbors. Each chapter is by a different director and uses a unique visual style, including ink painting, paper-cutting, and watercolor. The title and theme song are taken from a poem by KANEKO Misuzu. The work is imbued with a message that children, adults, and all things in the universe can grow toward brightness.
