Born in 1957. Completed a Master's Program in Art and Design at the University of Tsukuba. Founded Creatures Inc. in 1995 and later produced Pokémon Red and Pokémon Green. In 1998, at the same time as the founding of the Pokémon Center (the current Pokémon Company), he became the president of the company. At present, he is in charge of all Pokémon brand management such as Pokémon Card Games, TV animation films and feature films adapted from Pokémon software.
