Born on November 15th, 1963. Director. Entered the field of Animation when he was 15 years old. Worked as an animator on the TV Series Uru Sei Yatsura and Akira(1988). Directed his first work, Pop Chaser, in 1985 for the series Cream Lemon. Co-Directed Black Magic M-66 (1987/OVA) with Masamune Shiro (Ghost in the Shell, original story). Also worked on Rojin Z (1991/ feature movie) with renowned artists like Katsuhiro Ootomo (original story, script, mechanical Design) and Toshifumi Eguchi (original character design). Directed the popular manga artist Tatsuya Eguchi's Golden Boy (1995/OVA).
