MAEDA Shinjiro

Born in 1969, MAEDA is a filmmaker and associate professor at the Institute of Advanced Media Arts and Sciences (IAMAS). Seeing the video medium as a tool to discover the unknown, he produces a variety of films, including some that are automatically edited by computer, and others that are generated by a chain of shots based on a certain set of rules.
