MATAYOSHI Hiroshi

Born 1973 in Okinawa. Spent the first four years of his life in Brazil. Graduated from Okinawa Prefectural University of Arts. His graduation work, a clay animation titled "THE BUGS", received the ACA Media Arts Festival Excellence Prize and various other awards, which encouraged him to choose a career as an animation artist. His "monster game," in which he mixed computer graphics and clay animation, earned him the Grand Prix at "Media Hunting 1999" festival.
