This full-length animated film is his 4th film, after having directed the short animated film Obachan no omoide (Doraemon: A Grandmother's Recollections) (2000) and the full-length animated films Doraemon Nobita no Kyoryu 2006 (Doraemon: Nobita's Dinosaur) (2006) and Uchu kyodai #0 (Space Brothers #0) (2014).
