Outline

This painted work was created by applying paint directly to the monitor. After a field of 16,777,216 colors (the maximum number that can be displayed on an ordinary monitor) was transmitted at a rate of 1/60 seconds and randomly rearranged on the screen. The artist, also a graffiti painter, painted the colors on the monitor with fluorescent pigments. The work captures a society in which computer monitors are now an inseparable part of our lives.
