Outline
A manga adaptation of Vicki BAUM’s novel A Tale from Bali. The story is about the tragedy that befell the kingdom of Bali in the early 1900s. The daily lives of people living in abounding nature change after a Chinese merchant ship wreck, and are invaded by the Dutch army. The young Pak and other people who live through the ravages of war are carefully reproduced by faithfully tracing the manners and customs of the time.
