AKB0048 next stage

A mecha (robot) sci-fi TV series set in the near future, when show business activities are prohibited. A story about the super Milky Way idol team “AKB0048” who, inheriting the name of the legendary “AKB48” who had shined up until the end of the planet, deliver surprise concerts. Taking AKB48 as motif, KAWAMORI Shoji’s original artwork is combined with the unfolding live scenes and mecha action sequences. The selection of character voices from AKB48 members also caused a stir.
