Candela

The stop-motion animation depicts the last days of the life of Mrs. Candela, an elderly lady living in an old apartment building in the suburbs, using intricately made puppets and sets. She spends her days eating alone, feeding the mice, doing the laundry, and taking the bus to a grocery store. Then, a mysterious little girl appears in her life. Mrs. Candela makes something for the girl to play with and closes her eyes on the sofa while listening to her voice.
