Just a Guy

Three women, including the artist, who corresponded with Richard Ramirez, a serial killer and rapist convicted in the U.S. in the 1980s, reflect on their emotions as they read the exchanged letters. Through the letters, we encounter relationships between a man and a woman that are as obsessive as they are hauntingly familiar. The animated documentary film uses clay animation, actual letters, and captured images from social networking sites to depict love.
