Kuronekodousyouten no Ichiya (One Night at “Kuronekodou”)

A collection of woodblock manga works based on works by famous Japanese poets and writers such as AKUTAGAWA Ryunosuke, TOMINAGA Taro and HAYAMA Yoshiki, representing their unique worlds by means of woodblock. It includes Kuronekodousyouten no Ichiya (One Night at “Kuronekodou”), which revolves around cats and is reminiscent of MIYAZAWA Kenji’s works, as well as eleven other works created since 2004, in which the author made enormous efforts to integrate the woodblock technique with manga.
