Outline
Under the influence of modernization, the streamlined steam locomotive No.12.004, commonly known as “Douce”, is due to be demolished for scrap metal. An elderly engineer, Leon Van Bel, heads to the “grave of locomotives” with a mute young woman, Ilya, to rescue Douce. This work attracted public attention as the first ever bande dessinée work to feature an “Augmented Reality (AR) system” interface.
