Bourke is a small town on the southeastern edge of the Australian desert. After the Europeans arrived, Aboriginal people in Bourke were taken away, and other tribes were brought to Bourke to live in the missions. Set in this town, this short film depicts the natural beauty of the place, and the history and identity of the Australian people. Through the Aboriginal people’s relationship with nature, the film emphasizes the urgency of the problems caused by environmental destruction.
