Outline
CG animation inspired by MIYAZAWA Kenji’s story of the same title (1934). When a young girl named TAKADA transfers from another school, her classmates think she’s a wind sprite, and she finds it hard to make friends. Classmate Koichi likes her but is too selfconscious to talk to her. Tranquil colors enhance the work’s expression of children’s ephemeral emotions: their fears, flexibility, and fledgling feelings of romance.
