After Nasser Ali’s wife breaks his beloved tar (a traditional Persian str inged instrument), the musician completely loses the desire to live. This is the beginning of the end for Ali, who dies eight days after taking to his bed to await death. What emotions are concealed in the tone colors of the tar?
