This movie is the theatrical version of the TV animation series Sound! Euphonium 2, which was broadcast in 2016. Kumiko nds out that Asuka, her senior in their band, has decided to quit just before they compete in a national competition. The lm focuses on the relation- ship between these two, with an overarching theme of the wavering between the adult and child within us. The lm was produced by Kyo- to Animation.
