Outline

Film images of rotating circles and dots are projected onto nine screens. In a different room, nine spheres the size of ping pong balls rotate inside a showcase. A live videostream of each sphere is connected to a screen in the first room. Although the spheres’ ever-changing surfaces are similar to the images on the screens, their movements are actually different, and the boundary between reality and image gradually becomes more ambiguous. The distinction between original and reproduction−a much-discussed topic in the media field today−is cogently manifested in this work.
