Trapped

An installation projecting studio-shot video im- ages of “trapped” people onto a 4.5 m high screen situated in the 70 cm gap between a tobacco shop and an ophthalmology clinic us- ing back projection. Viewed from across the street on the Tokyo Midtown side, the work gives the apparent impression of people actu- ally being trapped between the two buildings coming face to face with their situations of con- finement.
