Type Space: Draw

The act of typing leaves us with a text, but no trace of the action itself. This work renders the act visible before it vanishes, displaying the trajectory of typing in 3D space by applying Hooke’s Law based on the location of the keys on the keyboard, the location of the typed letters on the screen, and the timing with which the keys are struck. The lines thus drawn have the vitality of handwritten brushwork.
