Murakawa is a small village surrounded by beautiful nature. Five elementary school children who attend a summer camp in the village encounter an injured dog The children save its life, and to their utter surprise, discover that the dog can walk on its hinder legs, and can even speak. It turns out that the dog, whose name is Poch, is an alien from the planet Wan. Pochi decides to reward the children by taking them on a trip to the Moon.
