Yubari Fusai

Having the fewest divorces in Japan, Yubari City has adopted two characters meaning happy ‘married couples’ (read as fusai in Japanese) to transform Yubari city from a place of ‘debt’ (also read as fusai) to a town of happiness. In gloomy times, these characters will help the people of the town to laugh away their current situation and move forward cheerfully and optimistically.
