Request for Cooperation with Measures to Prevent the Spread of the Novel Coronavirus

To prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus at the Exhibition of Award-winning Works from the 23rd Japan Media Arts Festival, we are taking steps to create a safe, enjoyable exhibition space. As part of our infection prevention measures, please follow the terms before making a reservation. We also ask visitors for their understanding and cooperation with the following infection prevention measures.

Guidelines for Visitors

      If you have experienced any of the following within the past 14 days, we ask that you refrain from visiting the exhibition.
      ・You have a fever of 37.5°C or higher.
      ・You had symptoms such as cough, sore throat, nasal discharge, fatigue, breathlessness, abnormalities in smell or taste, etc.
      ・You have been in close contact with anyone who has tested positive for the novel coronavirus.
      ・You suspect that anyone in your household or anyone you are close to has been infected with the novel coronavirus.
      ・You have traveled to a country or region where the government imposed entry restrictions and required an observation period after entry, or have been in close contact with residents of that country or region.

      If you have any other concerns about your health condition, please think carefully about visiting this event.

      Body temperature readings will be taken using thermography at the entrance to the venue.
      Please be aware that visitors with a body temperature of 37.5°C or higher will not be allowed to enter.

      Please wear a mask at all times inside the exhibition venue.
      Venue staff members will wear face shields and masks to prevent infection.

      Hand sanitizing stations are set up around the venue. Please be diligent about cleaning and sanitizing your hands when entering and while inside the venue.

      Please maintain distance between yourself and other visitors while viewing exhibits and waiting in line. Staff members are instructed to approach visitors when they see that crowding is occurring.

      The number of seats in the Dome Theater, Miraikan Hall and Innovation Hall will be reduced. All seats are unreserved, but please refrain from moving around. Also, we will provide ventilation and disinfection between film screenings, so please be sure to leave the theater after each screening. Please be sure to leave the venue after the screening.

      During the workshop, please leave a space between the seats. Please wear a face shield provided by the organizer. The area will be ventilated and disinfected between workshops.

      For safety reasons, the content and operation of exhibitions, screenings, and workshops may be suspended or changed at any time.

      If an outbreak of novel coronavirus infection is detected, the secretariat may contact you or provide your personal information to health centers and other related agencies if necessary.

      If an outbreak of novel coronavirus infection is confirmed in the museum, it may be temporarily closed for disinfection.

      In light of the above, reservations cannot be transferred or sold to other parties. Staff members may ask you to prove your identity.
