Bastien VIVES

Born in France in 1984. He made his debut with Elle(s) in 2007. Le Goût du Chlore (A Taste of Chlorine) was awarded a New Face Award in the Festival International de la bande dessinée d'Angoulême in 2009 and Polina was awarded the BD Bookshop award and ACBD Critic grand prix in 2011. He has been depicting the daily lives of young people in a new, fresh way and is considered to be a leading manga artist in the new generation of the French manga industry.
