Born in 1966 in the Brittany region of France. While studying architecture, LEPAGE became active in the bande dessinée (B.D.) movement of French and Belgian cartoonists, and began publishing his work in magazines. His full-fledged debut came with the appearance of Névé in 1991. Muchacho was the first work for which he created both the story and the pictures. His most recent work, Un Printemps à Tchernobyl, has already been nominated for a host of prizes in France and has received widespread acclaim.
