KOIZUMI Yoshihiro

Born in 1953. Graduated from the Musashino Art University. After working at an advertisement agency, and as a freelance CM director, debuted as a writer with manga essay Buddha to Shittakabutta (Media Factory) in 1993. Won the Bungei Shunjuu Manga Award with Buddha to Shittakabutta3 Nanndemonaiyo. Other major works include picture books Kobuta no Kimochi mo Wakatteyo (Gentosha), Senso de shinda heishi no koto (Media Factory), and a collection of short, short stories, Shigatu Tensai (Bungei Shunjuu).
