LI Kunwu

Born in 1955 in Kunming, Yunnan Province. While working as a newspaper reporter for Yunnan Daily, he published the autobiographical manga Une vie chinoise in France, for which he received international acclaim and numerous awards. This and recent work have been translated into a number of Western languages, and he is attracting great attention in the world today as a leading Chinese manga artist.
