Sonicteam, Ltd., a spin-off company of Sega Corporation led by game creator Yuji Naka, has sold more than 25 million worldwide of its hit game series "Sonic". Sonicteam, formerly Sega's No.8 Software R&D Division, was established in April 2000. The company has released a series of hits like SONIC Adventure, Samba de Amigo, NiGHTS that incorporate new and unique fun elements.
