Outline
The work is inspired by Angel’s Trumpet (Brugmansia), a plant with a trumpet-shaped blossom. One of its many breeds can be pollinated solely by a very long billed hummingbird. The artist was amazed by the cooperation between the bird and the plant that took millions of years of evolution to develop and imaginatively depicted the excitement with scenes of people from different countries and times playing brass instruments.
