anima

This work takes the form of a puppet show combining live-action video and digital animation. It depicts, through the inner desires of the characters and with a unique humor, the state of a horse mackerel about to be deprived of life as an ingredient in a dish. The title, anima, has the meaning of “light/soul/life” in Latin, but also carries the intention of its creator “to produce an animated work going beyond animation”.
