Ten different people’s sampled pulses morph threads dangling from speakers into various forms. While separate pulses are distinguish- able near a speaker, from a distance they resound as a singular mass. Making the dis- crete and the collective perceptible, the piece expresses the similarities between social struc- tures and individual needs. The visibility it brings to the human pulse acts to invite cultural discussion.
