AR to see how far vacuumed: Utilization for self-support activities of autistic children

A joint project with the Saitama Prefectural Honjo Special Needs School to support independent activities for people with autistic spectrum disorder. It was found that vacuuming, which usually requires assistance, can be independently done when using a vacuum equipped with this AR technology. The project demonstrated the possibility that short-timespan AR that responds to a user’s actions and provides real-time feedback can expand human capabilities.
