Atokata no machi (City of Traces)

Situated at the end of World War II, this is a story about KIMURA Ai, a freshman student at the national school higher course in Nagoya. The raging war did not concern this young girl enjoying her youth, but Nagoya was a very important strike target for the American army. This story meticulously depicts the truth of wars through the girl’s perspective of the war, air raids, the deluge of incendiary bombs from the sky.
