Reason for Award
Baka Shitei (Stupid Sister And Brother) is a strange title, and so is characters’ behavior. They behave in an erratic way and the story often comes to an unexpected ending. But, that’s what kids are all about. This author closely observes and has a deep understanding of the “ecology” of kids, and quietly observes and laughs at adults who are twisted around kids’ little finger and thrown into total confusion.
